Shoes

Grandmama let's us play outside. We like the feel of grass. It's so soft and gushy.
Yesterday Grandmama decided we need to wear shoes.

This is us in shoes.

Visit to Mommy's job

So we went to visit the people who work with Mommy. They love us. Mommy is always telling us about the stuff they do. And they ask about us all the time. So we felt it was only right to go visit.

Mommy asked us to be on good behavior, but...well, we just weren't prepared for all the people and all that attention. We are used to just having Grandmama and Daddy's undivided attention.

So when we first got there I had a meltdown. I cried and cried and cried. But after some time passed, I calmed down. The milk helped too.

This is me with Miss Lisa. She helped me calm down and start acting like people instead of a lunatic. (Those are Mommy's words, not mine. I am not a lunatic!)

This is Xavier playing peek-a-boo with Miss Eleanor.

This is me. Walking. There was so much room in the front area. I just walked and walked.

Xavier playing peek-a-boo between the stool this time.

We like mirrors. We played here for the longest.

(all the pictures you just saw were curtesy of Miss Eleanor)

We were there soaking up all the love. Then we started to get sleepy so Mommy loaded us up and left. Then she got my ears pierced. I was not happy about that at all.

We like Spring

Since the weather changed and it's warm outside now, Mommy and Daddy and Grandmama take turns taking us outside so we can play.

Today I learned that pretty flowers taste as badly as dead leaves.

Xavier prefers the taste of dead leaves and sticks to real grass.

This is me walking. I do this a lot now.

This was Xavier.

The 1st of 3 Celebrations

So today we celebrated our 1st birthday. Yes, I know today isn't our birthday. But we celebrated anyway. Xavier says we're celebrating every chance we get. So next weekend we're visiting our Aunt Renee. And the following weekend, we take this show down to Grandpa Oscar's.

Mommy made us cupcakes.

I didn't really care about the cupcake itself. But I did like the icing.

Xavier liked all of it.
He's so greedy. He even ate my cupcakes.

There are more pictures. This is to just get you started.

Hello. Is anyone there?

We've been pretty quiet lately. I know. But Mommy is traveling for work and Daddy is working hard and going to school. And Grandmama...well Grandmama was happy when Mommy got back from her last trip yesterday. I think Grandmama almost cried when she saw Mommy walk in the door. But you know Grandmama, she puts up a good front.

Anyway, Ysabella is just a walking. Walking. Walking. That's all I hear. Ysabella can walk.

But Ysabella can't climb. I can climb on anything (and I do). Grandmama got so tired of pulling me off the ottoman and off the couch and out the chair she brought the play-pen back upstairs. Mommy and Grandmama call it baby jail. But there's no jail tough enough to keep me. I'm testing its boundaries and scoping out the terrain. I'll be breaking out any day now.

Ysabella...doing her walking ...whooptie whoop!

Me, I like to dance and sing. Can you hear the song? Can you say "Chicken Head"?
