Sleep is not necessary

Daddy fell asleep after we opened our gifts.  Mommy sent him back to bed.  Gram was tired too. So we had the living room to ourselves.  (Mommy is resting on the little couch.)

Family Traditions

Every year we make gingerbread cookies.  Mommy normally lets us make shape cookies.  We have our own cookie cutters.  But this year we tried something different.  We made homemade ginger snaps.  They are so good.

We also went to the Galaxy of Lights at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.  We love looking at the lights.
Gram really enjoys the ride.

Happy is....

Merry Christmas.

It's early.  It's still dark outside.  But we are wide awake.  Santa came.

We got pajamas and clothes. Hats and gloves.  A bunch of toothbrushes and toothpaste.  We got books, work books, crayons, water color paint and pencils. There were playing cards and checkers.  We even got a Dance Rave (but Mommy hasn't read the instructions yet so we can't play with it).

Ysabella gave me a Rubik's Cube.  I gave her a new babydoll (we named her Sarah).

Oh, and we also got bicycles.  And the bikes have horns!!!

This is the best Christmas ever!

Halloween

I don't like Halloween.  I asked Mommy if we could skip it.  She said I could.

Ysabella likes Halloween.  So Mommy said she could have it.

The school said we could dress up today.

Ysabella is Ysabella Doc McStuffins Goggans.  I am just handsome.

All Pink

Lakewood Elementary is recognizing breast cancer awareness month. All this week we had pink days. Wednesday was All Pink Day.

Bli Blip

Look out jazz world!

We now have a saxophone, a clarinet, and a trumpet.

So of course we had to jam out. There are a lot of videos but Mommy only uploaded two.  We'll load the rest this weekend.

What you are about to enjoy is a sampling of Bli Blip as played by the Lincoln Center Orchestra guest starring Ysabella Renee and Xavier Ramon.

p.s.: Mommy says we do accept tips.

p.s. 2:  Mommy says sorry for the video quality. She was in hurry to catch us.

Day 1

We had fun at school.  My teacher's name is Miss Pruitt.  Ysabella's teacher is Miss Finley.
We colored and read and ate and made puzzles and a bunch of other stuff.  We have new friends.

Mommy says we can go back tomorrow.  (Mommy also says she has to make a notebook for all of our art from school.)

Memorial Day

We had a great weekend. The weather was beautiful. We played and stayed up late and slept in. We helped Daddy fix the backyard. We watched Mommy fall asleep on the deck. We even helped Gram on the grill.
