Miss Susie and the Garden

We have a great next door neighbor.  Her name is Miss Susie.  She lives in a blue house. 
She has a flower garden in her front yard and a vegetable garden in her back yard.  Every afternoon, when the worst of the heat has passed, she's out in the yard.  She plants flowers and waters the roses.  She also supervises her grandson as he mows the yard.

Today she gave me and Ysabella flowers of our own to plant.  Miss Susie told us to tell Mommy to start us a garden.  So we ran in the yard with a new plant in each hand (mine and Ysabella's). 

Mommy just laughed.  Then she went and got Gram.  Gram found a pot with good dirt and she helped us plant our first garden.
